By strengthening our tribal government, investing in our infrastructure, expanding economic opportunity, and ensuring transparent leadership, we can create lasting prosperity while preserving our traditions and culture and protecting our lands.
Economic Development & Self-Sufficiency
Build Strategic Corporate Partnerships

Develop CSR and Community Partnership initiatives with major corporations; pursue long-term partnerships with industries that invest in education, workforce development, healthcare, broadband, and infrastructure; establish a Tribal Office of Corporate Partnerships to recruit private-sector investment.

Secure Federal Funding

Aggressively pursue state and federal investment and appropriations; expand tribal grant-writing capacity; strengthen relationships with Arizona's congressional delegation and state and federal agencies.

Leverage Tribal Natural Resources

Develop tribal resources responsibly through eco-tourism and outdoor recreation, sand and gravel production, water resources, renewable energy opportunities, and land development that protects Apache values and culture.

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

Pursue designation to attract manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and international business, creating revenue and jobs.

HUB Zone Certification

Expand 638 Enterprises

Develop businesses across healthcare, construction, IT, environmental services, public safety, and facilities management.

Modernize Tribal Tax Code

Encourage investment, promote business growth, increase fairness and transparency.

Modernize the Law & Order Code

Update and strengthen the tribe's legal code to reflect current needs, ensure consistent enforcement, and support a safer, more accountable community.

Water

Expand reliable drinking water systems, improve irrigation, upgrade aging infrastructure.

Power

Pursue 638 Self-Governance, utility cooperative partnerships, regional power agreements, and renewable energy with workforce training.

Roads

Repair existing roads, expand access, improve safety and lighting, pursue transportation funding.

Public Safety Communications

Pursue designation to attract manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and international business, creating revenue and jobs.

Tribal Grid System

Develop a comprehensive GIS and infrastructure mapping system.

Fast Track College Accreditation

Expand San Carlos Apache College partnerships to increase accredited programs, workforce certifications, and apprenticeships.

Reform General Assistance

Delegate administration to Social Services, establish clear eligibility standards, prioritize direct payments to providers, conduct regular program reviews.

Internal Review of Tribal Finances

Comprehensive audit of tribal departments, enterprises, programs, grants, and contracts.

Financial Transparency

Annual independent audits, quarterly financial reports, public budget summaries, procurement transparency, performance dashboards, and citizen access to financial information.
